Communities In Schools of Madison County, Inc. (CISMC) is a 501(C)3 non-profit agency helping to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Youth programming this year includes middle school after-school programming, a middle and high school tutoring/mentoring program, and a middle school transition program. Utilizing community volunteers, over $50,000 in State and Federal grants, and nearly $8,000 in local fund raising efforts, CISMC helps to make a difference in the lives of students in Madison County and offers community members the opportunity to become engaged in this worthy cause.
