Dear MHES Family,
We are so excited to begin our 2022-2023 school year!
My name is James (Jimmy) McGregor and I feel extremely blessed to be the Principal of Mars Hill Elementary School. My wife Lauren and I, along with our children (James and Carter), are super excited to be home here in Madison County.
My ultimate goal this year is to provide support for our amazing staff, students, and families. Safety will always be our highest priority along with academic growth. I believe that we should enjoy the learning process, even though it may be challenging at times, we aim to inspire and take pride in our accomplishments as a school.Parent involvement is also an important part of our school's success. Please consider getting involved with our school’s PTO as they work hard at finding creative ways to support our students and they are always open to new members.
We have many ways that we will communicate with our families this year. Administration will make a weekly phone call, typically on Sunday evening, with important information about the upcoming week. In addition, newsletters will be sent out monthly and information will be posted on our school Facebook page.
