    Our Mission:
Our mission as School Counselors at Madison High School is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that attends to the personal/social, academic, and career/college preparation and planning needs of all students. Our services include group and individual counseling, academic support, crisis intervention, career and college planning, as well as student and family advocacy. Our goal is to promote a commitment to life-long learning, personal and academic growth, and to aid our students in becoming responsible, culturally aware, and productive members of society. This foundation for this will be supported and strengthened through collaboration with our fellow educators, administrators, parents, and community advocates.

Counselor Announcements

  • The PSAT will be offered at Madison High on Wednesday, October 12th for interested sophomores and juniors. For sophmores, the PSAT is an excellent way to begin to prepare for standardized college entrance exams such as the SAT and ACT. High scores on these types of exams often directly correlate to college acceptance rates and scholarship offers! For juniors, the PSAT is not only great practice, but also the way to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship program. For more information on National Merit Scholars, please visit www.nationalmerit.org.

The PSAT is an optional exam for all students. There are 20 spots available at the cost of $20. Students who receive free/reduced lunch qualify for a testing fee waiver. Testing spots are first come first serve so go by the school counseling offices and sign up with Ms. Crosby today to hold your spot!
