The mission of the Madison County Schools Nutrition Program is to provide our students with nutritious breakfast and lunch meals each day.  We understand that students need healthy, well-balanced meals in order to thrive and grow both physically and academically.

The Madison County Schools Nutrition Program provides food service for six schools, two day care centers, three Head Start classrooms, and two after school care centers.

2026 Summer Feeding: Mars Hill Elementary School is an Open Site for Summer Meals.  These meals are free to students enrolled in the Madison County School System. Breakfast is served from 7:30am to 8:15am.  Lunch is served from 11am -12pm.   The Summer Feeding Program will be closed the week of June 29th - July 3rd for the Fourth of July Holiday.
