My name is Jessica Arrington Chandler, and it is my honor to serve as Principal of Madison Middle School. Our school serves approximately 460 students from all areas of Madison County. MMS offers many opportunities for students such as clubs, sports, elective classes, and PBIS activities. Madison Middle School is a 1:1 school meaning that each student is issued a laptop for their classwork. We are also very excited to be a part of the GearUp grant. GearUp offers students extra opportunities with a focus on College and Career Readiness.
I am a native of Madison County and live in the Big Laurel Community. I attended Mars Hill Elementary, Madison Middle School, and Madison High School as a student. Upon graduation from Madison High School, I attended Mars Hill College where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I began my career at Madison Middle School teaching 6th grade Science. I taught 6th grade for several years eventually moving to the 8th grade.
