Madison County Schools Return to Learn Options

Direct face-to-face instruction is greatly valued by Madison County Schools, however, we understand that often students need another option for a variety of reasons.  Please understand this will be much different than the remote learning that occurred at the end of the 2019-2020 school year.  Please click the links below for more information and to access the application.

Madison County Schools Return to Learn Options

Governor Roy Cooper asked all North Carolina school systems to design three options (Plans A, B, and C) for a return to school this Fall.  MCS is sharing this summary document so families can see what Plans A, B, and C will generally look like for our school system. **The Governor announced on July 14th that North Carolina schools will use Plan B to begin the school year on August 17.  Please click the link below to learn details about what Plan B looks like for Madison County Schools. We will continue to refine important details for each plan. We also understand you have questions, and we will try to answer them to the best of our ability.  We encourage you to talk with your child’s principal about your questions.

Please click on the Return to Learn Plan link below to view the summary document highlighting our three plans and an additional virtual only option for learning in the fall.
